Problems with consent.youtube.com redirects and detection of different YouTube link types have also been fixed, ensuring the app reads links accurately every time.

Completely Redesigned Built-In Browser

To handle YouTube’s latest security measures, we’ve implemented a brand-new built-in browser. It’s faster, more stable, and works seamlessly with modern websites. You can now log in to Google, Twitch, Vimeo, Facebook, and TikTok accounts reliably to access private or protected content.

Note: Because of the new browser and updated cookie management, you’ll need to log in to your accounts again to reach private and login-protected content.

Updated Core Libraries

The browser update required a refresh of the app’s technical foundation, improving stability, security, and compatibility. Minimum system requirements are now Windows 10 64-bit and macOS 12.

macOS users will notice:

• Text displays correctly without glitches
• Smooth scrolling in the Control Panel with trackpad or Magic Mouse
• Dock icon disappears properly after quitting the app

Refined Main Menu

Thanks to the updated Qt framework, the main menu now behaves consistently across platforms. Windows and Linux users will see a menu that stays inside the app window, works well with multiple monitors, and fully supports keyboard shortcuts and screen readers.

“Clear All” Returns

The popular “Clear All” option is back in the Control Panel. Smart Mode now groups subtitles by language variants, and failed downloads that require login will reprocess automatically once you sign in. With Smart Mode off, the download window now wraps long subtitle options and opens faster.

Better Navigation and Consistency

This version addresses numerous small issues to make the app feel more intuitive:

• Language and subtitle settings now stay saved even if Smart Mode is off
• Dubbed audio preferences in subscriptions persist
• Batch parse errors now show “Reload” instead of “Resume”
• Tooltips and menus remain inside the app window
• Improved keyboard and screen reader navigation

Improved Stability

Playlists with apostrophes now restore correctly and show their covers, and in-app updates are now more reliable. Besides, several crash scenarios have been fixed and long error messages are now trimmed for clarity.

More Reliable Parsing

The app now consistently handles TikTok embedded videos, Rumble links, and Xvideos links.
