We’re excited to announce the 25.4.0 Beta of 4K YouTube to MP3, a release focused on fixing the toughest YouTube issues, modernizing the app’s core, and improving reliability across all platforms.

Please note that this version is released as Beta. Updates will only reach users who:
— have “Install Beta versions” enabled,
— meet the OS requirements (Windows 10+ 64-bit or macOS 12+),
— and have the latest patch installed (25.3.4).

YouTube Issues Finally Solved

The YouTube bypass has been upgraded to beat the infamous “403: Forbidden” error and restore login-protected links and formats. Parsing after consent.youtube.com redirects and YouTube link-type detection are now fixed.

Right now, parsing may feel a bit slower, but no worries!This is temporary and will be fixed in the next release.

Brand-New Built-In Browser Is Here

To tackle YouTube protections, we’ve switched to a completely new built-in browser. It’s more modern, more stable, and more compatible with today’s sites.

Logins now work reliably on Google, Twitch, Vimeo, Facebook, and TikTok.
Blank pages on macOS ARM are gone.
TikTok videos now display in full height.

Because this is a new browser with a different cookie storage system, you’ll need to log in again to access private content.

New Core Libraries

Updating the browser required updating the app’s foundations: Qt 6.8.1 and Boost 1.88 bring better stability, security, and compatibility, but also raise minimum OS requirements:

Windows 10+ 64-bit
macOS 12+

macOS users will notice several improvements: no more garbled text, smooth Control Panel scrolling with trackpad or Magic Mouse, and the Dock icon now disappears properly on quit.

Redesigned Main Menu

The main menu has been redesigned on Windows and Linux. It now stays within the app window on multi-monitor setups and is fully accessible via keyboard and screen readers, which makes the app easier to navigate for everyone.

"Clear All" Is Back in the Control Panel

Yes, the “Clear All” button is back in the Control Panel, just like you asked! Besides, items that used to fail to download without login will automatically reanalyze after signing in.

Consistent Logic & Better Navigation

Keyboard and screen-reader navigation in the download list is improved.
Batch parse errors now show Reload instead of Resume.
Control Panel selection works better.
Batch actions no longer open the built-in browser.
Tooltips stay within the window.

Stability Upgrades

Playlists with apostrophes now restore correctly and display covers.
Future in-app updates are more reliable.
Several crashes have been fixed.
Long database error messages are shortened for clarity.
