It's been a long time since the last 4K Tokkit update has been shipped but we're excited to share that the new version of your favourite TikTok downloader is now live! Let's take a look at what we've improved in this release.
The new 26.0.0 version isn't bringing new features. Instead, it's focused on enhancing your current experience. In this release, we've fixed a few annoying issues that made 4K Tokkit less enjoyable.
Here they are:
- This is the most noticeable fix in this release: videos downloaded through the app now correctly include audio. We're not stopping there either, so further quality improvements to downloaded video are planned for an upcoming release.
- Stability was a major focus of this update. We resolved a crash that could occur while subscriptions were updating. Updates should now run smoothly without the app unexpectedly closing.
- The Edit tab now works correctly too when you have downloaded content. Previously, it appeared, but nothing in it could be clicked.
- Linux users running Ubuntu 26.04 ran into an issue where the app wouldn't start up, caused by a missing shared library. That's now fixed, and 4K Tokkit should launch correctly on Ubuntu 26.04 going forward.
- The Control Panel now closes automatically after clicking "Download My Account", "Download My Favorites", and "Download My Likes".
- Resizing the app window no longer leaves black bars on screen.
Besides, we've made a few different UI/UX improvements and increased the app's stability.
Make sure you update your current version to 26.0.0 on our website or inside 4K Tokkit.
