2025 draws to a close, so we at 4K Download want to take a moment to reflect on a year full of updates, new features, and milestones, all thanks to you, our incredible users. Your support, feedback, and enthusiasm have driven everything we do, and we couldn’t have achieved any of this without you!

Our support team also resolved nearly 69,000 cases, ensuring you get help when they need it. Across all our apps, users downloaded and processed over 1 billion files, and 4K Image Compressor alone handled more than 7 million files successfully! By the end of the year, our community grew to an impressive 23 million users, and we welcomed 211 new affiliates to the family.

Beyond the numbers, 2025 brought exciting firsts for us. We hosted our very first AMA sessions on Reddit with our developers, where the community asked insightful questions, shared ideas, and gave feedback that will help shape the future of 4K Download. The energy from the session reminded us why we love building tools for such a passionate community.

Highlights from 2025 Updates

This year has been remarkable across all our apps: we focused on making our apps smarter, faster, more reliable and released 59 updates in total:

• 18 for 4K Video Downloader Plus
• 18 for 4K YouTube to MP3
• 15 for 4K Video Downloader for Android
• 7 for 4K Tokkit
• 1 for the old version of 4K Video Downloader

Among the most important updates is original audio track selection, which is now available to all users.

Besides, we added smarter language selection for video titles and subtitles by introducing the Default language detection.

We improved accessibility with full screen reader and keyboard support and added similar video recommendations to discover content you might like without leaving the app. Oh, and the “Clear All” option is back for easier management of subtitles and downloads.

In 4K Tokkit, you can now download bookmarked posts from your Favorites and save content in full HD (1080p), which is an upgrade from the previous 720p limit.

What’s more, we’ve introduced smarter “cooldown” intervals for subscription downloads, reducing failures and temporary restrictions, and rolled out native Apple Silicon Support for faster, smoother performance on M1, M2, and newer Macs.
