Why AI Over Traditional Processing?
AI-based processing uses machine learning models trained on large datasets. The models detect patterns in frequency, harmonics, and waveforms with greater accuracy than traditional signal-processing techniques, which rely on fixed filters and require manual parameter adjustments. AI methods cut processing times from hours down to seconds and make the tools straightforward for anyone to use, regardless of how tech-savvy they are or their prior experience.
AI-powered features expand the apps' capabilities beyond downloading to include audio processing. It benefits casual users managing personal files, professionals handling advanced edits, and businesses pursuing commercial projects (Pro license is required for commercial use).
Currently Available Tools
The following AI features are live and ready to use:
- Remove Vocals identifies and removes the lead vocal track from a song, leaving the instrumental backing intact.
- Extract Vocals removes the instrumental layers from a recording to isolate the vocal part.
- Extract Voice separates human speech from background elements like music, crowd noise, environmental sounds, etc.
- Remove Echo creates a drier sound, like the audio was recorded close to the mic with minimal room reflections, while leaving the core vocals unchanged.
- Remove Background Music strips away music beds, harmonies, and instrumental parts while preserving the primary speech content.
Upcoming Features and Voting
In addition to the AI processing tools described above, the list includes several features not yet implemented. Since AI tool development requires substantial computational resources, currently unimplemented features will be added gradually, with priority set by user demand.
As a user, you can vote for the features that interest you directly in the list of tools. When you select an unavailable feature, a pop-up appears asking whether the feature is useful; your response influences the development order.
